We want every student that walks through Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business to understand that there is more than one bottom line in both business and life – and to have the skills and opportunities to act on them.
Beyond our Certificate in Sustainable Business and other academic coursework, Business for Impact students emerge from their Georgetown tenure having transformative experiences through practical, hands-on, and integrative learning opportunities. Our students gain knowledge and experience to lead and manage successful businesses with a deep understanding of today’s complex social, economic, and environmental challenges.
During the academic year, we host bi-weekly Lunch + Learns at the McDonough School of Business. These Lunch + Learns feature dynamic and accomplished speakers from across sectors at all stages of their careers. During these meetings, students learn about future opportunities and have time for peer advice and feedback from Business for Impact Student Leaders on their projects.
