New Strategies Corporate Partners

SELECTION PROCESS
Corporations and independent/family foundations provide 100 percent of the funding to Georgetown University to support the New Strategies program. Funding is used to cover all program expenses for senior executives who attend New Strategies forums, including travel, lodging, instruction, materials, meals, and special events. Funding also enables Georgetown University to provide ongoing communication and assistance to participating nonprofit organizations following each four-day forum.

NEW STRATEGIES ADVISORY COUNCIL AND FUNDERS
The New Strategies program is made possible primarily by grants from businesses that are widely recognized for their leadership in the corporate social responsibility field. A New Strategies Advisory Council includes the program’s main funders. The council meets annually to discuss philanthropy and related corporate citizenship developments/trends. Council members share grant-making objectives and practices and also have an opportunity to interact with nonprofit executives attending one of the New Strategies forums.
