Over the summer, I worked at REDF Impact Investing (RIIF) which operates nationally and provides concessionary rate loans to social impact organizations focussed on transitional employment for people experiencing unemployment and underemployment due to a range of socio-economic factors. 

I had a wide ranging summer that included creating a financial model for a new fund RIIF will be raising in 2020. I presented this model to the board and to REDF staff. I also led credit analysis and due diligence on potential several borrowers and made recommendations based on the fund’s risk appetite.
