Business for Impact represents an outlet and an initiative toward purposeful conversation, access, and action- all of which drew me to to return to graduate school, and to Georgetown’s McDonough School of Business, in particular. I believe in the powerful role business can play in driving sound and durable impact solutions and Business for Impact has granted me the exposure, connections, and responsibilities to advance those interests. 

 

What is increasingly clear is that best practices when it comes to lasting business strategy solutions must incorporate social impact considerations. The business case for why social impact matters has never been stronger and I feel particularly fortunate to be in a position to help drive that conversation as a full-time MBA student and Business for Impact Student Leader here in DC.
